Iranian short animation ‘One Person’ to vie at Bulgarian Fest

Directed by Mahboubeh Kalaee, Iranian short animation ‘One Person’ has been selected to compete at the 16th edition of the “In The Palace” International Film Festival in Bulgaria.

The animation will participate at the student competition section of the event.

The subject of the 3-minute animation is love and loneliness.

The synopsis reads “There is a world of meanings in chinaware with motifs of three red roses …”

The winner of the festival has the opportunity to attend the Academy Awards.

Established in 2003, “In The Palace” is dedicated to short films up to 27 minutes.

The principal objective of the festival is to present and promote contemporary short film from Bulgaria, Europe, and the world.

The 16th edition of the “In The Palace” is slated for September 19-26, 2019.
